The Education Fund of the Women’s Forum provides financial awards for women in New York City, over 25, pursuing their first college degrees. Each year we distribute $200,000 dollars to deserving women to assist them in completing their education and career goals.

In 2026 women hold 30% of Russell 3000 corporate board seats*
The Women's Forum Corporate Board Initiative advocates for raising the number of women on corporate boards, by providing programming to prepare female executives for board service and a database accessible to any search firm, of CEO sponsored, board ready women.

The Women’s Forum of New York is the founding forum that has grown into a global network of women leaders. Members enjoy reciprocal membership under the umbrella of the International Women’s Forum which is comprised of 76 Global Forums with over 8,000 members.

Education Fund
Since its creation in 1987, the Education Fund has raised $3 million, enabling women whose lives have been disrupted by extreme adversity to return to school and complete their education.
