This special edition was produced on the occasion of the 112th birthday of Elly Guggenheimer (1912-2008) and the 50th anniversary of the Women’s Forum of New York, the organization that she conceived and founded with three other women in 1974 that has grown into the International Women’s Forum (IWF), a network of women leaders now comprised of 76 Global Forums with over 8,000 members. Elly wrote this manuscript in the last years of her life, and what followed is a series of memories from throughout her illustrious life, both personal and professional.
