Laurence D. Fink is Founder, Chairman and CEO of BlackRock, Inc. Mr. Fink and seven partners founded BlackRock in 1988, and under his leadership, the firm has grown into a global leader in investment and technology solutions to help investors build better financial futures. Today, the firm is trusted to manage more money than any other investment firm in the world. Mr. Fink has been named one of the "World's Most Respected Leaders" by Fortune, "CEO of the Decade" by Financial News, and one of the "World's Best CEOs" by Barron's for 11 consecutive years. Mr. Fink serves as a member of the Board of Trustees of NYU and is Co-Chairman of the NYU Langone Medical Center Board of Trustees. He also serves on the boards of the Museum of Modern Art, the Council on Foreign Relations, and the Nature Conservancy. He is also an Executive Committee member of the Partnership for New York City. Mr. Fink earned an M.B.A. with a concentration in real estate and a B.A. in political science from UCLA.
